Safety First
|
|
With safety a foremost priority, Fisher & Sons has developed a dynamic approach to safety with our comprehensive Safety Management Program. Designed to instill in all team members a strong awareness of safe jobsite practices, the program consists of three key components:
- A set of clear safety policies that meet or exceed industry standards, which all employees and subcontractors are required to follow. Policies dictate hazard awareness, emergency preparedness and site-specific worker protection plans for each job site.
- Communication of safety policies and practices throughout the entire workforce, including safety orientation meetings for all employees at each new job site, weekly jobsite safety meetings and ongoing equipment training programs.
- The enforcement of policies and accident prevention measures by our full-time Safety Coordinator, who is responsible for overseeing safety policies and practices at all Fisher & Sons job sites.
